A logo is one part of a broader brand identity. Before exploring concepts, define what the business needs to communicate, who should recognize it and where the identity will be used.
Clarify the business position
Write down the offer, target audience, competitive difference and personality you want the brand to express. These decisions create useful boundaries for design.
List real-world applications
Consider websites, social profiles, invoices, packaging, signage, uniforms, presentations and advertising. A strong identity should remain usable across the formats that matter to the business.
Collect references with reasons
Instead of saying only that you like a logo, explain what works: simplicity, typography, energy, color, structure or tone. This gives the designer direction without asking for imitation.
